Location

Jacana is located in Lincoln, in the province of Buenos Aires, 300 Kilometers (185 miles) from Buenos Aires city.

Driving time 4 ½ hours, over good roads and through beautiful rural country.

Optionally, you may charter directly to the landing strip at Lincoln. (60 min)

Climate

Duck Hunting in the Province of Buenos Aires is a fall and winter activity, and cool mornings, evenings, with an occasional ride in an open boat mean that layers, or a good waterfowler's parka are the route to go. Temperatures start in the 45-65 F range in the early season, and drop to 35-50 by July.

Showers are also a possibility, and it can be cool, and damp. Skim ice is possible on very cold mornings, though quite rare.
